A parent will be called whenever a child has a fever over 100 degrees, diarrhea or vomiting, significant pain, repeated complaints or anything out of the ordinary.
Please remember that if children are sent home with a fever, they must be fever free for 24 hours before they return. This means that they should not return the next day. The 24 hour period begins from the time they no longer have any fever.
Medication, even over the counter medications, cannot be given at school without permission from your physician. You can download the form from this website or contact me for a copy. A parent signature is also required. Please remember that EACH school year, a new form is needed.
If your child has any chronic or serious conditions, please alert the teacher and myself so that we may work with you to keep your child healthy at school. We will develop a school health care plan that will be signed by myself, and the parent.
Please notify the front office or myself if any of your contact information changes so that we may be able to reach you if necessary.
Please feel free to call the clinic or email with any questions or concerns. The phone number is 547-7989 and the FAX is 547-7985. I am in the clinic most days from 7:30am until 3:30pm.
The clinic will always welcome donations of snack-size baggies and latex-free bandaids (any size)
